The Kokugyo Network offers buying trips to koi professionals featuring top-level breeders in: Western Japan (Hiroshima, Okayama, Shimane), Kyushu, Niigata, Kanto and Chubu regions. We can accommodate you in both Autumn and Spring time of the year and will arrange hotel, ground transport, meals and the air shipping of the koi you purchase while here in Japan. Our staff are fluent in both Japanese and English, so you will be able to converse with the breeders and get the questions you need answered helping you to make an informed purchase decision. We truly know koi and do not employ inexperienced people that serve only in a capacity of interpreter and driver. For your money, you should demand both knowledge and language skills rather than settling for one or the other.

We truly operate as a Japanese company, and enjoy all the legal rights and benefits as such. Some will claim that they are operating as a company here, but the truth of the matter is that they are not incorporated and operate totally on a black money basis. Please consider these things when you choose your exporter as without legal entity status in Japan matters such as insurance, proper driver's licenses, local business disputes, and tax matters may expose you to unforeseen trouble. Many claim to have a legitimate company presence in Japan when the fact of the matter is that they are operating on a tourist visa as an individual.

Our trips are offered only to bonafide koi professionals as we cater exclusively to the trade. We can from time to time entertain requests to take select customers of our agents along on buying trips and the decision is subject to our prior approval.
